Reading or listening to the news isn’t easy these days and cheering stories are few and far between. Well, here’s one that will make you smile
Back in 2018, Nightingale Triangle was a patch of overgrown and scrubby woodland, with more discarded hypodermic needles and rubbish than flora and fauna. Today, thanks to the hard work and dedication of members of the Bracknell Forest Natural History Society, the local residents’ Friends Group and Bracknell Conservation Volunteers, it’s been transformed into a glade full of spring flowers and birdsong. It’s gone from somewhere local residents steered clear of to somewhere they can enjoy nature of their doorstep.
Congratulations to all involved. You should be proud of yourselves. You’ve made something beautiful.
